'I don't know if I have changed much'
1.- Hola Rafita! Congratulations for your second week in Roland Garros (by
the way, I haven't yet wished you happy birthday) Talking about your
birthday, on your last day being 21 years old, I would like to ask "what has
changed in the Rafa of today to the Rafa from before your first Roland
Garros, not only in tennis, but as a person? We would love to see you on
Sunday biting your fourth trophy. The team from the "Bolsa" always with you.
Besos. (this would appear to be from our Spanish forum, no?)
Hello, many thanks for the wishes although they come afterwards. The truth is
that I don't know if I have changed much. Actually, I try not to change as a
person. I think that I have matured a lot, as a player and as a person, which
is normal.
2.- Hola Rafa. Tennis is always looked at as a posh sport. I play, and even
though today we all have access to it, I can't deny feeling a certain disdain
when watching matches and the type of people who attend, with their latest
fashion glasses and clothing, the more expensive the better, and those airs
and graces. Do you hope that this will change one day, or do you like it that
way? Greetings.
Jajajajajaa, I don't know if it is like that. The tennis public is varied and
although there are people like the ones you describe, I think that there is a
bit of everything. What I can say is that with total respect is that I am not
like that nor the people I know either. One thing about tennis that I like
very much is that there is no fighting and that is good. Ojalá everything,
everywhere was like that.
3.-Hola Rafa! Many congratulations! What are you going to wish for when you
blow out the candles? Good luck always.
If I have won today, I will wish to win the tournament, and if I haven't won
that I will think of something else...jejjejejee. Gracias!
4.- Hola Rafa, congratulations for the tournament you are having. Let's hope
that you finish it just as well and in good health to face Wimbledon and the
Olympic Games. Well, I might catch you off guard, but, what advice would you
give Carla to face her next match, the Olympics and the final of the
Federation Cup, now that at last it seems that female Spanish tennis players
have found the missing piece. Do you like her game? And now to ask: Arantxa
or Conchita? Greetings campeón: D
Oof.. I don't think that I am the person to give advice to anyone, that's why
they have trainers and teams who know them well. Yes, I can say that it is
good for female tennis in Spain that she has had good results. Regarding
Arantxa or Conchita, both of them because they both did so much good for
tennis in Spain.
5.- Hola. I wanted to know how your French is coming along. If you get to the
final, which I hope you do, and that you win, you will have to fulfil the
promise that you made last year!! It would be a really nice touch, even
though I won't understand anything!!!
First I have to reach the final, which is more difficult. If I do, I will
have to say something, right?
