J.C. FERRERO/G. Gaudio 6-7, 6-1, 6-7, 6-2, 6-4
Q. Can you give us an update on the status of your injury? What does
it feel like right now? How serious is it, still?
JUAN CARLOS FERRERO: I don't feel a hundred percent, but I feel like
80 percent. You know, I play without pain right now, so I think it's
improving very well.
Q. Does it in any way restrict your movement on the court?
JUAN CARLOS FERRERO: I think I'm not moving, you know, with a hundred
percent of my legs, very quick. You know, I have to go very quick to
the balls to try to hit the ball strong that I can because, you know,
is not easy to play with the injury. But I try to be at my best all
the time with the injury. Doesn't matter.
Q. Andre Agassi, do you look forward to playing a man who is (inaudible)
his game, even though it's a critical match in the French Open?
JUAN CARLOS FERRERO: I know it is. But is going to be the first time
with Andre Agassi. Will be my first head-to-head with him. I'm going
to enjoy the match. Of course I'm going to try to play my best tennis.
I'm in the quarterfinals right now. I have to enjoy the rest of the
tournament.
Q. Do you remember the first time you watched Andre Agassi play tennis,
maybe on TV? What did you think?
JUAN CARLOS FERRERO: I can't remember so good. You know, I think Andre
Agassi is one of the best players in the world. Pete Sampras and Andre
Agassi is one of the best players in the world. So I have the chance to
play with him. As I said before, I'm going to enjoy it, of course.
