RUANO PASCUAL-SUAREZ/Raymond-Stubbsv6-4, 6-2
Q. You two seem to be in a much better mood than your opponents in
the second set. At what point did you know you had the match?
PAOLA SUAREZ: I thought all the match was tough. We didn't know
exactly when the match was over. I mean, we play each point, every
set. But I think when we changed 4-1 in the second set, there was
the big game, this one. Sorry, 4-2. I think there was critical point.
Q. This is your second consecutive year winning. What about the two
of you works really well as a team?
PAOLA SUAREZ: I don't know what she say.
VIRGINIA RUANO PASCUAL: We play from 10 years ago together. We know
everything on court. So I know when Paola is going to play the volley,
who is going to do. Is the same for her. So I think this is the good
point, no, for us. But (inaudible) for us to win two years in a row, no?
Q. A question related to the final of yesterday. What is your feeling?
Is it a good thing or not to have the Williams in the final for the
women's tennis?
PAOLA SUAREZ: I think it's good. They are sister, but they are separate
players, no? Each one is a player. Was a coincidence that they play the
final together. I think it's good.
