Spurs forward Malik Rose is experiencing success in the restaurant
business. Just over a year ago, Rose opened Malik's Philly's Phamous
in the Alamo Quarry.
And within the next few months, he'll be opening a second location of
the restaurant at 1604 and Bandera.
The menu, starring Malik and fellow Spurs favorites, features an array
of the original style Philly Cheesesteak, plus a variety of other foods.
For dessert, there is the "Iceman's" Italian Ice, a unique icy-treat
available in 14 different flavors, or a "Tasty Kake," authentic bakery-fresh
Philly pastries.
"It's going real well," said Rose.
"The new location should be open by February."
