Spurs Silence Sonics' Rally

SAN ANTONIO, April 11 (Ticker) -- Although they may have the best forward
in the league, the San Antonio Spurs have claimed the best record because
of their bench.

Malik Rose scored 20 points and rookie Emanuel Ginobili added 15 as the Spurs
got 48 points from their bench en route to their 11th straight win,
a 94-86 triumph over the Seattle SuperSonics.

Malik Rose攻下20分加上"菜鳥"Ginobili挹注15分以及整場馬刺板凳球員攻下48分,
幫助馬刺以94-86打敗西雅圖取下了11連勝

San Antonio's Tim Duncan is arguably the best frontcourt player in the league
was dominant Friday, collecting 18 points, 15 rebounds and six blocks.
But Duncan can not win games by himself and the Spurs have won 40 of
their last 47 as their bench has developed into one of the NBA's best.

全聯盟公認最強的大前鋒鄧肯雖然攻下了18分,15個籃板以及六個火鍋,
但是靠他一個人的力量是贏不了這場比賽的
馬刺隊的板凳球員幫助了馬刺隊贏得最近47場比賽的40場,
藉由這幾場比賽,馬刺的板凳深度已經逐漸的被認定全聯盟的前幾名了

Reserve Speedy Claxton added 13 on 4-of-5 shooting for San Antonio,
which saw its bench make 14-of-28 shots from the floor and 19-of-21
free throws.

另外Claxton在這場比賽以四投五中的命中率替馬刺隊攻下了13分;
馬刺隊替補球員這場球投籃命中率28投14中,21球罰球也命中了19球

"We got a great contribution from our bench tonight," Spurs coach
Gregg Popovich said. "Speedy, Manu, and Malik were great off the bench.
Down the stretch, Manu and Speedy made some great plays and Tim anchored
the middle for us. It was a great win."

Starting point guard Tony Parker scored 16 points for the Spurs (59-20),
who have moved two games ahead of the Dallas Mavericks for the league's
best record. They can clinch the top seed in the Western Conference playoff
race with their next win.

馬刺依然維持著他們一貫的步伐前進下一場比賽以及邁向西區的季後賽

The Spurs led by as many as 21 in the first half, but the Sonics dominated
the third quarter and pulled within 81-78 with 5:17 remaining in the game.

馬刺隊整場以21分的優勢領先了第一節,可是西雅圖主宰了第三節的比賽,
還一度在比賽剩下5分17秒時將比賽帶入了81-78的緊張氣氛

Claxton responded with a jumper and buried two free throws before Duncan
made 1-of-2 from the line for an 86-78 edge with 3:18 left.

比賽剩下3分18秒時,雙方以86-79僵持不下時,Claxton在鄧肯miss掉一顆罰球前,
以一顆跳投以及兩罰全進回應了西雅圖的一鎮猛攻

Seattle climbed within 86-82 with 2:31 remaining,
but Ginobili made four straight free throws to double San Antonio's lead.

西雅圖在比賽剩下2:31時,將比分拉近到86-82,
換到Ginobili表現了,連續的四顆罰球擴大了馬刺的領先

The Sonics again closed within four with 50 seconds to play,
but Rose sank two free throws 14 seconds later and Parker sealed the game
with two from the line with 11 seconds to go.

西雅圖接著在50秒之內連下四分,再將比賽拉進了一觸即發的關鍵,
啊哈~換rose上場了,14秒後先來兩顆罰球,
接著11秒後Parker再進了兩顆罰球

San Antonio needed a big performance from its bench as it played
without starting guard Stephen Jackson,
who did not play due to a groin injury, and got just 23 minutes from
injury-plagued center David Robinson.

損失了先發後衛Stephen Jackson(因傷未上陣)
以及帶傷中鋒David Robinson,
馬刺隊現在很需要他們的替補球員好好來表現了

"No matter who is in the game, we seem to play well," Claxton said.
"(The injuries) just made Manu step up a little more," Robinson said.
"We missed Stephen's penetration and his emotion.
The guys coming off the bench did a great job tonight.
They played really well."

speedy說:不管誰在場,我們都必須要好好表現
大羅說:因為受傷使得Ginobili跑動出現了問題,我們甚至損失了Stephen的滲透和跑動
但是替補球員的挺身而上適時的彌補了我們的損失,他們打的真的很好!(好感動)

Ray Allen scored 32 points on 13-of-22 shooting before fouling out
for Seattle, which will be eliminated from the playoff race
if Phoenix defeats Golden State on Friday night.

艾倫被罰出場前22投13中,攻下了32分,不幸的是,
如果星期五鳳凰城電爆了金州勇士隊,那麼西雅圖就要說掰掰了

"I felt like we really didn't play until the second half,"
Sonics coach Nate McMillan said. "Once we got that sense of urgency
we did get back in it. We just couldn't get over the hump."

San Antonio scored 21 of the next 30 points and took its largest lead at
52-31 on Parker's 3-pointer with 3:04 remaining.

The Sonics scored the final seven points of the first half led by Brent Barry,
who made consecutive 3-pointers to bring Seattle within 53-39 at halftime.

並以關鍵的一顆三分球將中場比數控制在53-39

Allen scored 10 points in the third for the Sonics,
who scored nine straight points late in the quarter and pulled within 69-64
on two free throws by Ollie with 14.5 seconds to go.

艾倫在第三節替西雅圖攻下了10分,其中連下九分把比賽拉近到69-64五分的差距

"We were a little more physical with them in the second half," Allen said.
"We out a lot more pressure on them. We came out and in the fourth I felt
like we really made it a game."

艾倫說:"我們下半場已經打到沒力了"
我們給了馬刺隊很大的壓力,並且在第四節打了一場好比賽,降子就夠了!"
