I tried all three races and only knew of the new units and a few of the new abilities. Sadly, I missed out on trying burrowed Banelings that moved and Ultralisks that charged underground! Me and the other press attendee that I played with agreed to just tech to our new units first. I grabbed the Swarm Host first and quickly researched my burrow upgrade. The Swarm Host was fun and it's locusts actually packed quite a punch. Not even his Shredders could stop a large swarm of around 16 locusts. The Swarm Hosts ability to spawn locusts had auto-cast, but is probably much more dangerous if you don't use it. 我試玩的第一場遊戲是ZvT。我跟另外一位媒體工作者同意先把科技研發起來再說。 我先選定了全生蟲並且馬上研發了遁地技能。百生蟲是相當有趣的單位,而且 他產生的蝗蟲確實可以帶來有效的攻擊。對手的粉碎者根本無法應對16隻蝗蟲的攻擊。 百生蟲的技能是可以自動施法的,不過如果你改成手動會是更有破壞力的單位。 I could see this unit being mixed with Infested Terrans very well as the locusts have around 110hp. Their high HP could buy the time the Infested Terrans need for hatching. These locusts would probably combine with Broodlord's broodlings very well too. The unit itself probably pays for itself after it spawns it's 4th round of locusts. You would probably want to be aggressive with this unit and push, but at the same time it can be hard because the unit doesn't move while burrowed. The burrowing time and the casting time of the spawn locusts gives a very short window for any player with detection to snipe 1-2 Swarm Hosts before a single locust could spawn. The Viper is a very fun units, especially it's ability to drag other units around. This would make for a great combination with the new Neural Parasite range on Infestors. It's blinding cloud is also the answer to all fans who were wishing the Defiler would be brought back into the game. This is basically the anti-Terran unit a lot of players have been waiting for as well as the blinding could basically reduces over 70% of the Terran army to melee units for a short duration. Just enough time for Banelings to bust in.
