Picard On Board Trek 10
Patrick Stewart has signed on to play Capt. Jean-Luc Picard in the
proposed 10th Star Trek movie, the first Star Trek: The Next Generation
crewmember to come on board, USA Today reported. John Logan (Gladiator)
is working on a script for the as-yet-untitled film.
But the newspaper said it's unlikely the next Trek movie will begin
production before anticipated strikes by Hollywood actors' and writers'
unions in the spring of 2001.
