Obi-Wan vs. Vader: Jedi"最高境界"

[PINGU (OFFB)]

電影中刪掉了很重要的一段，也就是尤達(Yoda)與魁剛(Qui-Gon)的對話。
魁剛提到了一種超越西斯的能力，修練這種能力可以使絕地武士自由轉化
成「原力」的形態 -- 肉體消失，但意志仍然存在。尤達稱此為「Eternal
Consciousness」，認為這種力量超越一切(a power greater than all)。

接著在第四部曲，歐比王(Obi-Wan)與維達(Darth Vader)對決的場景再次
重演：
Vader: I've been waiting for you, Obi-Wan. We meet again, at last.
       The circle is now complete.
       (我一直在等你，歐比王。我們終於又碰面了。
Vader: When I left you, I was but the learner; now I am the master.
       (當我離開你的時候，我只不過是個學徒，但現在我是大師了。)
Ben:   Only a master of evil, Darth.
       (只是個邪惡的大師，達斯維德。)
Vader: Your powers are weak, old man.
       (你的力量很弱，老頭。)
Ben:   You can't win, Darth. If you strike me down, I shall become
       more powerful than you can possibly imagine.
       (你無法贏我，如果你擊倒我，我會變得更強大，超乎你的想像。)

一陣打鬥之後，路克(Luke)一行人趕至現場。然後︰
The old Jedi Knight looks over his shoulder at Luke, lifts his sword
from Vader's then watches his opponent with a serene look on his face.
(歐比王轉頭看到了路克，並將他的劍移開，然後看著維達，表情沉靜。)
Vader brings his sword down, cutting old Ben in half. Ben's cloak
falls to the floor in two parts, but Ben is not in it. Vader is
puzzled at Ben's disappearance and pokes at the empty cloak.
(維達一劍劈下，將歐比王砍成兩半。他的披風落到了地上，但是卻不見身體。
維達對他的消失感到疑惑，並檢查了空無的披風。)


我覺得在此時歐比王已經練成了Eternal Consciousness，這就是他的身體消失
的原因。到了後來，歐比王的意志仍然可以導引路克，並和尤達對話。所以說
歐比王應該是有此能力的少數人之一。
