[問題]Lowess smoothed line

在一篇文章中看到的

主要是用scatter plot去看age和一些參數之間的關係

在這之後就提到lowess smoothed lines (with 60% of points in the fit)

我不太懂這是什麼?

是linear regression的一種嗎?

The names "lowess" and "loess" are derived from the term
"locally weighted scatter plot smooth," as both methods
use locally weighted linear regression to smooth data.
