[問題] 機統問題

An engineer want to move across the country from A to B to work. On
different days,she mails a letter and resume to 3 different companies in B.
Suppose that a letter sent from A to B has a probability of 0.7 of reaching
B within 3days.

(a)能夠再三天內將三封信的兩封傳到B城市的可能性是多少?

(b)If the 3 letters are mailed together at the same time and location, how
does your conclusion in part a change? Explain.

沒有機率和統計的版

二項分布.

同時寄可能一起遺失或一起延誤.
換言之, 二項分布的條件不再成立.
