There're 2 aqua-domes in my reach. The Elizabeth has 3 pools, including a
standard 50-metre one which opend to public. Another 25-metre one is for squad
training.
Adelaide aquatic centre, which is much bigger than that in Elizabeth, contains
one 50-one, 0ne spa bath, 2 children pools and a standard Diving pool (
5-metre in depth , I visually,roughly estimated)
They usually put a boom in the middle of the main pool, to make it 2
25-metre pools, and 16 lanes. (much more efficient)
Half lanes are reserved for squads training(they have squad training
all day long, different age groups, even 50-70 year-old ladies and men ! ),
the other 8 lanes are for public, marked into "laps swim slow","medium",
and "fast".And what interesting is the sign, which says : if you don't
know your level , the lifeguard can help you to identify your lane ...
I jumboed into the fast lanes for laps swim the day I found this pool.
And there're big counting clocks EVERYWHERE!/Even Backstroke, you can see one
on the ceiling.
And I find many many kids jumping from the 3 or 5 metre height into the
diving pool.( Yes, /you're right , I jumped , too, Heyhey...)
But the most surprising thing to me must go to canoe polo !
I usually buy a BACKSTROKE HOTDOG after swimming, 'cause the FREE or
MEDLEY one has mustard, and I don't like that kind of spicy.
I bought a pair of training fins , kick board and paddles last week, everything
about swimming goes easily here(All shop close at 5 pm, but pools close at 10 pm).
Studying here is a highly-densed stress, but compared with
my disgusting, awful college life, it seems ok. All I'm worried about is
flying course.
Well, but I feel satisfied so far, since I got a good gym, 2 swimming pools
and a 10-K ruyway with sheeps and rabbits, what else should I ask for?
?If my bike is here, the world would be beautiful, and if I got a gf ,
the would would be perfect.
no bike , I bought a U.S.postal service jersy which you won't find it in TAIWAN.
to relief myself.
no girls , I can just play PS with those Black guys, THUNDERing them
in "street fighters ".(That's why they take me as Japanese ...)
