我覺得 the other 的用法，應該用於描述一群同樣的東西。
例如 some students, the other students （都是students 人）
some apples, the other apples （都是apples 物品）
因為 the other 是指同一群體中的相對一方。
雖然這題接在 due to 後面都是造成產品損壞的原因，
但這三項原因之間好像並沒有直接的關連性。
或是可以用刪去法來選擇適合的選項。
D 選項是個代名詞，就文法來說就可以馬上刪掉。
B C 選項前面也需要接一些例如 some 等等的關鍵字眼，
來帶出後面的 other, another......
所以這時候就只能選 A。
其實這題也不用想太多， A 的意思就翻譯為「其他的」。
而不是翻譯為「（兩者中）另一方的」。
個人意見，有疑問可以再討論討論。
