[題目] 朗文Advanced文法題目請教

[aliengirl (love seats)]

<朗文P.107>下方有個規則是indefinite frequency可以放在句首或句尾。
但它舉了個例子：Always I eat lunch in the office.====>Incorrect

<朗文P.108>以下題目中，答案是C。

_______the right to limit quantities on all items.

(A) Daily reserve
(B) Reserve often
(C) Always reserve
(D) Reserve genertally

看來規則與題目無誤，但是它舉的例子......
I'm so confused ....

想請大大解答之...

題目中因為沒有主詞
所以 Always擺句首當作祈使句

舉例裡面有主詞 所以不是祈使句  要照他原本規則放

          如果改成Always eat lunch in the office.就正確了

      所以祈使句縱使主詞被省略掉了,放在一般動詞前面還是符合規則的
   另外,在第四版朗文裡,問題修改成這樣:
   _______the right to limit quantities when you are selling seasonal items
   that are in high demand.
   搞限量可是經商之道阿! XD

據我在第四版朗文上看到的
1.indefinite frequency adverbs 放在be動詞後面
例: He is usually very friendly.

2.indefinite frequency adverbs 放在一般動詞前面,助動詞後面
例: The flight always leaves on time.
例: I would never have said that to her.

3.有些indefinite frequency adverbs 可以放在句首或句尾,像是frequently,generally,
  occasionally,often,sometimes,and usually
例: Usually I eat lunch in the office.

希望有解決原po的問題^^
