[聽力] the shades drawn?

longman advanced 第二回測驗 聽力part II第17題

17. Why are the shades drawn?
(A) Since it was too long.
(B) Because I don't like the sun.
(C) The windows are open.

答案是(B)，用消去法很容易選出答案
但是還是無法了解這個問答的句意
可否請高人解釋一下？
