U.S. Climate Change Program Confirms Human Effects on Warming

Report improves understanding of climate change on temperatures

Washington – The U.S. Climate Change Science Program (CCSP) issued
the first of 21 reports May 2, with findings that improve technical
knowledge about climate change and human influences on temperature trends.
The report, Temperature Trends in the Lower Atmosphere: Steps for
Understanding and Reconciling Differences, also says that data
show clear evidence of human influences on the climate system due
to changes in greenhouse gases, aerosols and stratospheric ozone.
