The most part of year 2000 for me was spent
traveling to new cities promoting my albums,
writing and performing. I was "busy as a bee". Yet
strangely, among all these craziness, I felt
somehow empty, uncertain about who I am and
what I do and somewhat misplaced in this
competitive business of music. It didn't help
knowing about the severity of piracy as in fact my
deepest fear was not being able to live up to
expectations in terms of album sales. I got caught
up in it and got lost. Looking back, I realised that
couldn't have made it through those times
without the help of my family and friends by my
side. Through them, I was reminded of when and
how I started loving music. When it was simply
because I believed.
This alubm is all about renewed beliefs. I wanted it
to be as positive as it could be and yet realistic.
Though we will still have our hearts broken,
dreams shattered, troubles unresolved, I believe
that they didn't happen to make us lose faith in
ourselves, but happen to make us stronger and
know better next time. Truly, it is our beliefs that
make us who we are today. Thanks for reading this
and buying (the real stuff, not pirated ones!)
