The ESPY Awards 2003

[ouch (掉手機天王)]

        隸屬於ESPN下的ESPY Awards,(就如同MTV台之於流行音樂的角色)
        前一日公布(美國時間7/16),

        今年最佳男網球員提名Agassi,Ferrero,Hewitt,Sampras,最後由Agassi獲得。
            最佳女網球員提名Capriati,Clijsters,Serena,Venus,最後由Serena獲得。
        其中Serena更獲得跨領域獎項"最佳女子運動員"的大獎!

        The ESPY Awards 2003 nominees

Nominees for 17 ESPY categories were announced on June 13. The winners for
each of the categories will be selected by the fans via ESPN.com and league
site voting. To vote, click on the category you're interested in below. If
you'd like to vote in all 17 categories, start with the NFL link and you'll
be shot through all 17 polls.

The winners will be announced during the ESPY Awards telecast on July 16 at
9 p.m. ET. Nominees for the 16 categories that are voted on by the ESPY
Academy will be announced at a later date.

其中'94~'99連6年由Sampras獲得,正好呼應他的年終球王六連霸...
目前除了PS和AA,還沒有其他人拿過兩座冠軍,不過這獎項的歷史尚淺就是了。

        其實在Best Game的提名名單當中,
        今年澳網Roddick和El Aynaoui的'血戰'也被列入... :)
        只是最後還是不敵。

Tostitos Fiesta Bowl
Credentials: Ohio State beats undefeated Miami and wins title.

NFC Wild Card Game
Credentials: 49ers comeback and beat the NY Giants.
