RABAT, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Flamboyant Moroccan Hicham Arazi is considering quitti
ng tennis, according to a newspaper report.
"I'm a bit bored (on the circuit) and, when you're bored with work you want to
do with passion, you look for something else," Arazi told daily Al Bayane.
The 31-year-old, whose highest world ranking was 22nd in 2001, lost to Max Mirn
yi of Belarus in the first round of the Paris Masters this week.
Morocco's second-ranked player behind Younes El Aynaoui, Arazi said he would ta
ke a few weeks before reaching a decision but added: "I'm a bit tired of all th
is travelling so it's quite possible I'll call it quits."
Highly talented but volatile, Arazi was twice a quarter-finalist at the French
Open, reached the final of the Monte Carlo Masters in 2001 also on clay and won
one ATP tournament, in his native Casablanca in 1997.
