Agassi back on track after LA title
Andre Agassi has put his Wimbledon flop behind him. Agassi won
the Mercedes-Benz Cup for the third time, downing Jan-Michael Gambill
6-2, 6-4 in 75 minutes to claim the $51,500 first prize. On the WTA Tour
Venus Williams won her fifth 2002 title, dispensing of defending champ
Kim Clijsters 6-3, 6-3 at the Bank of the West Classic.
