老張在辛辛那提的畢業感言：
Michael Chang’s Cincinnati farewell turned from fairytale to heartbreak
in the blink of an eye as he was beaten by Moroccan qualifier Hicham
Arazi 4-6, 7-6(7), 6-0. Appearing in Cincinnati for the 16th and final time,
the two-time champion held one match point at 6-5 in the second-set tie-break,
but was unable to convert his chance. Chang had earlier served for the
match in the 12th game of the second set but was broken. In the third set
shot maker Arazi cruised to victory without dropping a game.
"You're serving for the match, then you get a match point; it's a little bit
discouraging. Then just for some reason, the old energy level kind of went
down. Hicham picked up his game a little bit, and the third set went pretty
quick. I think I got a little bit nervous serving for it at 6-5. I threw in a
couple doubles. That really didn't help my cause too much. "
“Obviously, it's a little more fun when you win than when you lose but it's
important to have a good perspective, a good attitude out there. The last
thing you want to do is to walk away from your career and not feel good
about being out there. It's very easy to look at the negative side of things
rather than the positive and the blessings that have taken place over the last
16 years.
About Cincinnati: “The people have been special for me here. I think the
warmth that I know that I feel whenever I'm here in Cincinnati, whether I'm
in a tournament site or even off site, people have been very
accommodating, very supportive, very encouraging. And that's really, you
know, a great feeling. You always want to go back to places that you
know you're welcome. And, generally speaking, you play some of your
best tennis there. Cincinnati has definitely been that for me.”

要對老張的球迷說抱歉了-.-
今天的兩場轉播…一場是Moya vs Santoro ，另一場是Henman vs Coria
我想他們是以種子順序來決定重播與否的…鳴…其實我昨天又"提早補眠"
補過頭了-.-|||，醒來巳經5點…所以我也沒看到…所以也不確定是否真
有轉播…不過我想多少有吧…依Star Sport的作法，因為我也有看到
Martin一些…
不過我可以說一下，辛辛那提主辦單位有公開表揚這位即將退休的前冠軍
，老張其實看來外表沒變多少~~華人的特徵，並說了Nico po的感言，現
場還有死忠球迷拿著布條來為他祝福：大意就是「你是我們的美好回憶吧
」
其實我記得約95還是96年時，網球雜誌有辦過讀者投票吧，全美最受歡迎
的男單選手，第一是Sampras，第二就是老張了。(AA當時…我忘了…也許
是96年時他漸漸巳陷入低潮了)，我想大家都仍然記得當時的 許多回憶…
祝老張能在美網籤運好些、多打幾場！:) 現在還不用急著說再見…
