Davenport gives birth to baby boy 

Former world number one Lindsay Davenport has given birth to a baby boy
called Jagger Jonathan.

The 31-year-old American, who said she had no plans to continue her career
after announcing her pregnancy last year, had the baby on Sunday.

"Lindsay and Jagger are both doing great," Davenport's agent Tony Godsick
said on Monday.

Davenport won three Grand Slams - the 1998 US Open, Wimbledon in 1999 and the
Australian Open in 2000.

Davenport, who has 51 career titles, married husband Jon Leach in April 2003.

She said last December: "I hate the word 'retirement' but this season was
such a struggle physically for me and I can't imagine playing again.

"I feel like the second part of my life is about to begin. My life is with my
husband and my future child."
