不過由於這兩週Henman征戰是首次來到法網第二週，且打了
好幾場艱苦的戰役，會不會影響到他下週參加女王草地網球
賽的意願以及表現？是接下來幾天大家可以觀察的焦點。

女王草地網球賽一向是溫布頓前最重要的熱身賽，以供大家
去熟悉草地特性跟氣候變化，是跟這兩週在其他地方舉行的
熱身賽事最不同之所在，所以其重要性其實不下於TMS（基本
上我認為這一站應該可以列入TMS，以做為草地球場的大賽，
將來在溫布頓延後至七月比賽時，是很應該把他列入才是）

如果Henman因為在法網過於疲憊而選擇退賽修養，理論上是
無可厚非，但是對於他備戰溫布頓就會有影響了，即使是草
地專家，沒有熱身賽給予調整、熟悉，其實真的也是很大的
風險。就舉Sampras當例子好了，96年他法網打進四強，結果
也是因為疲憊而退出了女王草地網球賽，在完全沒熱身的情
形下就去打溫布頓，使得球技無法立即調整至最理想的狀態
，首輪打得很不好，搖搖晃晃打了四盤才勉強擊退Reneberg
，後來又遇上那一年的真命天子實在打得太完美了，使得96
年成為阿山哥這位草地之王全盛時期唯一的缺憾。

另外Henman最近幾年在溫布頓表現最不好的就是2000年只打
進16強，那一年他在女王草地網賽第一輪就慘遭淘汰，完全
沒有達到調整效果，成績打不起來也不足為奇了。所以，到
底他能不能利用這幾天好好休息，以儲存備戰兩個草地賽事
的能量，將是他今年能否在全英草地網球暨槌球俱樂部稱雄
的關鍵所在。（大會應該也要幫這位地主爭取多一些時間，
譬如第一場賽事安排在週三之類的）
