和之前法網的"Henman or Coria?"專題一樣 BBC又找了一堆網壇名人來預測Tim Henman近來狀況最好的一年的溫布頓奪冠機會 How will Henman fare? A selection of top names from the world of tennis pass verdict on Tim Henman's Wimbledon chances. "Henman's not the number one player in the world but he plays above his level every year when Wimbledon comes. He's going to reach the semi-final on his very, very best day." Boris Becker Three-time Wimbledon champion (1985, 86 & 89) & BBC commentator "He's had a great preparation for Wimbledon because he's played a lot of matches. If he keeps playing like this he's got a shot of Wimbledon this year." Stefan Edberg Two-time Wimbledon champion (1988 & 90) "With a new coach and new ideas and a new game plan Henman definitely has a chance. I think he's a great player with an unbelievable knowledge about the game and I believe he can win." Roger Federer Wimbledon champion and world number one "Tim will win, it is his year. He has got what he was missing before and he is really enjoying it now. Getting to the semi-finals of the French Open on clay, beating those guys, he has shown he can really do it. I believe that he deserves to win. He has everything: the game, the talent and the crowd. The only time that I won't be cheering him is if I'm playing him in the final." Goran Ivanisevic Former Wimbledon champion (2001) (一貫的熱情搞笑Goran發言 ^^) "He's got all the matches he needs under his belt after his magnificent showing at the French and grass is a piece of cake for him. Playing at his peak, and that's obviously a test as to whether he can play at 100% for two weeks, there are only a couple of players better than him in the draw, and even that I say with reservation. He has a great chance and I'd put him as the number two favourite." John Lloyd Former British number one & BBC commentator (so the number one favorite must be Federer then. :P) "He can win Wimbledon. If you can make it to the semi-finals four times there's no reason you can't win it. A couple of times it was literally a question of who he came up against. He's probably been the second-best player at Wimbledon every time he's made it to the semis." Todd Martin Two-time Wimbledon semi-finalist (1994 & 96) "I've been thinking that Tim Henman is going to win Wimbledon at some point in his life. I think Pete Sampras was unfortunately playing at the same time so that made it basically impossible to win Wimbledon then, but to me Henman looks like a better player every year. He's changed coaches and on grass these day if it's a wet Wimbledon and if the courts are pretty fast I think Tim Henman is one of the favourites."
