德國網球傳奇人物貝克爾入選名人堂

德國網球傳奇人物貝克爾12日入選網球名人堂。這位35歲的運動員成
為名人堂中第二年輕的“名人”。
10歲時就獲得“網球神童”美名的貝克爾，在他近20年的職業生涯中
6次稱雄大滿貫賽事，並將49個單打冠軍和15個雙打冠軍攬入懷中。貝克
爾同時也是網壇的一個傳奇人物，世界第一的寶座讓他“霸佔”了109周
之久。
在網球場上，貝克爾一貫以大力發球、犀利的抽球而著稱。退役後，
貝克爾又因為逃稅和花邊新聞而頻頻出現在媒體報道之中。
與貝克爾一同進入網球名人堂的還有法國選手迪爾、美國名將裡奇和
前國際網球聯合會主席托賓。迪爾1967年在法網公開賽折桂，在她20年的
職業生涯中共擁有11個大滿貫冠軍頭銜、世界排名最高達到第三位。裡奇
也是60年代的網球選手，在大滿貫賽事中兩次獲得單打冠軍，4次摘下雙
打桂冠。
