Rusedski into Kremlin semi-finals

Greg Rusedski reached the semi-finals of the Kremlin Cup after a tight
three-set victory over Swedish second seed Joachim Johansson.

Each of the three sets went to a tie-break and Rusedski recovered from
a 4-1 deficit in the decider to secure a 7-6 (7-5) 6-7 (1-7) 7-6 (9-7)
victory.

Johansson, the US Open semi-finalist, fired 33 aces to Rusedski's 32
but made 10 more unforced errors.

Rusedski will face Dominick Hrbaty or Igor Kunitsyn in the last four.

And, in the top half of the draw, eighth-seeded Russian Nikolai Davydenko
beat Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic 7-6 (7-2) 5-7 6-1.
