Agassi dismisses Davis Cup return
Andre Agassi will not play for the United States in the Davis Cup final.
The former French Open winner had been tipped to return to the American team
because the final against Spain will be played in Seville on clay.
But Agassi said: "I'm growing tired and I have a family. It's time for the
young guys who have got the team this far to have the opportunity to win it."
Agassi, 34, has not competed in the Davis Cup since 2000, when he played
under captain John McEnroe.
Current US captain Patrick McEnroe is likely to stick with a singles line-up of
Andy Roddick and Mardy Fish, with Bob and Mike Bryan contesting the doubles.
