PARIS, April 30 (Reuters) - Russian Yevgeny Kafelnikov, the 1996 winner, will not take part in the French Open next month, organisers said on Friday.
"Kafelnikov, semi-retired since the start of the season, has decided not to take part in the Parisian tournament and is replaced in the final draw by Spain's Alex Corretja," organisers said in a statement on Friday.
Organisers also confirmed the withdrawal of injured Spaniard Rafael Nadal, 17, and one of the best prospects in tennis. He leaves his place to American Alex Bogomolov.
South-African Amanda Coetzer had also pulled out of the tournament. She will be replaced by Russia's Alina Jidkova.

還好Alex不需要到領外卡參加法網的地步...
另外Coetzer很久沒參賽了,外界揣測可能要退休了...
