The Spaniard fell heavily during the Sydney International final against Lleyton Hewitt on Saturday and was forced to quit in the first set. Moya was taken to hospital amid fears he had broken his ankle but X-rays showed there was no fracture and that he had probably suffered a bad sprain. "I hope it's not going to be that bad, but it really hurts a lot," he said. Moya is due to face American James Blake in the first round of the Australian Open, which starts on Monday in Melbourne. "I wanted to try but I couldn't even walk," said Moya, who was Australian Open runner-up in 1997. "I was playing very well, I was very confident and the match was pretty open so it was a pity to end it this way." -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.64.102.35
