Marat Safin paid a tearful tribute to new coach Peter Lundgren after winning
his first title for 22 months in China last weekend.
"This is my first title with Peter, hopefully it won't be our last together,"
said Safin. "It's not party time because I won."
And the Russian suggested that Lundgren, who has previously worked with
Marcelo Rios and Roger Federer, is the perfect man to keep his temper in
check in future.
"Lundgren worked with Rios," said Safin. "If he can deal with Rios, then he
can understand me."

LOVE MATCH
Kim Clijsters and Lleyton Hewitt are to marry next February in Australia.
Clijsters, 21, said on her website that a party for their close friends would
be held in Chateau Saint-Paul at Lummen in her native Belgium after the
wedding in Australia.
"In December 2003 Kim and Lleyton Hewitt got engaged," a statement said.
"A year later the beautiful love story will have its logical extension with
a marriage in February in Australia."
