Wolves: KG's getting a little help
A recent 4-0 road trip showed that Kevin Garnett is still the
Wolves' star, but now he has teammates who are stepping up to
make the team competitive

Kevin Garnett has always preferred an ensemble cast rather than
a star vehicle.

A month into the season, with the Wolves coming off a 4-0 road trip,
it's clear that Garnett is still driving the car. But, perhaps,
he's got one with a little more power, with a few more options.

That he's willing to use them doesn't surprise Wally Szczerbiak one bit.

"He's been in this league 10 years," Szczerbiak said Thursday.
"He knows how much more fun it is when you're winning."

refreshing.

be competitive. The consensus seemed to be no.

all Wolves victories. And it seemed to harken the emergence of a
promising supporting cast for Garnett.

"I always said the only guy I would pay to watch play was
Kevin Garnett," Wolves coach Dwane Casey said. "And that was
when I was coaching in Seattle. He brings everything to the table,
and he's a team player. He wants everybody to be involved. He's
all-inclusive."

there offensively. Guys didn't feel their jump shots, whatever it
was. Our guys are finding each other."
