Well, you can give up the Kevin Garnett ghost.

An NBA source tells us that Minnesota has no intention of trading Garnett
and wouldn’t even listen to offers unless the name in return starts with
something along the lines of Kobe or LeBron.
某NBA消息來源指出明尼蘇達灰狼隊完全沒有把KG交易掉的打算，除非其他球隊願意提

That being the case, and unless there’s a sudden change of heart, the
T’wolves intend to quickly find the necessary players to fill in around
Garnett, and that takes the Bulls out of any potential deal with Minnesota.
那麼一來，除非灰狼球團忽然改變心意，他們應該是傾向於盡快尋找合適的球員來輔
佐狼王，而公牛幾乎也完全可以從可能交易名單中剔除了。
Even after netting the No. 2 pick in the draft lottery Tuesday night,
Bulls GM John Paxson just doesn’t have what Minnesota would want, which
is a franchise player just as good as Garnett.

The T’wolves believe they don’t need to start over. They’d rather help
Garnett get back to the top of the NBA, and believe they can do that right
away.

Paxson probably knew that already, because he said repeatedly during the
season that he didn’t think the Bulls would be able to land a megastar in
a trade this summer.

Maybe he even had Garnett in mind when he said it.
