Rick Alonzo talked to Dwane Casey.

There has been rampant speculation about the future of your franchise player,
Kevin Garnett, right. Is this Garnett's last season in Minnesota if you don't
make it back to the playoffs?

"I don't have a crystal ball, but Kevin's been great this summer. He's been
working hard, leading all the drills and all the pickup games this summer.
He spent most of the summer here, which was different from last summer. He's
been here working. This is his team. He has ownership in it — he's shown
nothing but that."

我無法預知未來，但是Kevin在這個夏天的確付出了很多，他努力工作、帶領球隊向

The Timberwolves' biggest moves this offseason were signing Mike James and
acquiring first-round pick Randy Foye, left, on draft day. How do you feel
about your team's offseason moves, and will they be enough to get back to
the playoffs?

灰狼隊在這個夏天最大的變動是簽下了Mike James以及第一輪選秀的新人Randy Foye，
對於這個夏季的變動你感覺如何？ 有機會重返季後賽嗎？
"Adding Mike and Randy helped our perimeter speed and our ability to break
defenses down. Mike brings three-point shooting. I thought that was an area
where we weren't able to stretch the floor enough last season. Teams are
going to have to respect that now. Both players bring something new to the
team. I think it will help us tremendously with the ability to score and
late-game situations."

Mike 和 Randy 的加入能夠提升我們整體的速度以及防守，Mike James提供了我們上

"Yes, I do. Mike's bravado and his confidence that he has on the court is
something I think will help everybody. Plus, he's a veteran. He was with the
Detroit championship team (in 2004). And I think Ricky (Davis) going through
training camp, knowing the system with that new group all together, that will
help their swagger, too."

在七月份針對右膝的手術，他們將夠健康的去獲得足夠的上場時間嗎？
"Troy, I think, will be a big plus for us. He was a huge contributor in
some of the games we won last season with his ability to shoot the three.
Troy's ankle is fine. He's been playing the last few weeks with the guys
and shooting the ball extremely well.
"Rashad's coming along. He's still months away from being able to play
basketball. I don't want to put a timetable on it because I don't want
to rush the kid. He's been great in his rehab and done everything he's
been asked to do. He's on track to come back."

summer-league play. Will he make a push to be in the starting lineup?

"I don't want to put expectations on him. He has all the ability in the
world to be a top-notch NBA player. We're going to throw him out there,
and whether or not he's a starter will be determined in training camp.
Guys will earn what they get. He has the ability and temperament to do that.
The plus thing for him is he has four years of college under his belt."

我不想讓他背負這麼大的期待，他有在這個聯盟成為頂尖球員的能力，我們將會讓他
達成這樣的目標。訓練營中的表現將會決定他是否能獲得先發的位置。每個球員將會
獲得他所應得的，他有這樣的能力與性格去做到這件事情的。另外，大學四年的洗禮
對他也有正面的幫助。
