Timberwolves coach Dwane Casey knows his team's victory Saturday night was
far from a perfect display of basketball.
灰狼的阿西教練知道他的子弟兵在星期六晚上取得的勝利距離完美的籃球表現還有很

But when you've lost four games in a row, any victory is a good victory. So
Casey wasn't complaining about his team's 78-71 win at Indiana, even though
issues remain.

It's difficult to say whether the Wolves actually won this game. Maybe the
Pacers just lost it after being ahead 20-4 early and then shooting 27.8
percent in last three quarters.

offense, which included 39.2 percent shooting. Ricky Davis, Mike James and
Mark Blount shot 3 for 20 combined (.150).

After the game, Casey was happy his team had won for the first time since a
four-game streak that began Dec. 13 at San Antonio.

"We'll take it," Casey said. "I think we got our defense back, but we can't
forget that we didn't shoot the ball well. But you're going to have those

beginning of the game, but they fought through it."

Second unit surge: For the first time this season, Casey played with a
significantly different lineup at the start of the third quarter. Part of the
change was forced by the absence of Trenton Hassell, who was out with stomach
flu. But Casey's search for a spark dictated the moves when he decided to use
Marko Jaric, Mark Blount, Justin Reed, Kevin Garnett and Troy Hudson.

The Pacers shot 2 for 16 in the third quarter and scored just eight points,
compared with Minnesota's 17. Indiana's 71 points were the club's fewest
since scoring 66 at Cleveland on Jan. 24 last season.

Briefly: Jaric said the Wolves need to show more consistency before declaring
their troubles finished.

"Some guys said we took the monkey off our back," Jaric said. "But I think we
still have a couple more games to win. We have to come back and fight harder
the next couple of weeks."
