New Tori Amos single available for download at online retailers now!

In what is sure to prove an historical event, Tori Amos and Atlantic Records ha
ve announced that "Bliss," the first single from Tori's forthcoming new album,
TO VENUS AND BACK, will be offered as a secure downloadable track for purchase
via multiple online retailers beginning August 13th. This marks the first time
that a major label artist has made a downloadable single commercially available
across-the-board throughout the Internet retail community. Among the participa
ting online retailers are: Musicland, Wherehouse, CDNOW, Tower Records, Transwo
rld Entertainment, Virgin, EveryCD, and others. Over a dozen independent outlet
s have also signed up, including Music Millennium, Waterloo Records, Twist and Shout, and Compact Disc World, among many others.
Coinciding with the release of "Bliss" as a commercial downloadable single, the
song is hitting radio stations across the country. "1,000 Oceans," a second ne
w song from TO VENUS AND BACK, is also hitting radio stations, and both songs w
ill be commercially released in CD5 and CD, cassette, and vinyl single versions.
