先找首簡單的來解釋 因為我也只會簡單的...
希望其他高手能多多發表意見喔~~~

Had a northern lad, well not exactly had.
→也許是這個男生來就來，走就走，而女方必須去適應他；也可能是他
們互相喜歡，卻沒有"officially"成為一對..

→可能表示這個northern lad的離去是必然的，just like sunset.

→這個男的很帥。
First he loved my accent, how his knees could bend..
→這個男生很喜歡她。在外國網站看到一個網友的說法是，"weak in the
knees 表示having a crush" 。

→女方本來覺得一切都會很好的。

→但這個女生後來還是發現他們之間是有問題的，can't work it out.

→表示她明白這個男生也知道他們的問題，希望他也承認。

→嗚~~我不會解釋..或許是表示女生現在過的還不錯吧，不知道..

即在西方，一方面也表示他們間的不合吧..那種距離..
