This new album, Boy for Pele, has 14 songs 或 長 或 短 all together 60:34
minutes. 超 過 前 兩 張 專 輯 的 總 長 .它 仍 保 持 TORI AMOS's personal
style - mezzo-soprano( 中 (女 的 低 音 ) 高 音 )聲 音 上 帶 些 苦 痛 ,失 望
or 自 省 加 上 略 似 輕 柔 的 鋼 琴 .這 次 令 人 驚 喜的 是 musical上比 以 往
豐 富 . 重 擊 的 鼓 , 錯 亂 的 Harpsichord, 還 有 String sperformed by The

herself; No one escapes judgment. Under The Pink is AMos 對 生 活 上 充 滿
混 亂 與 失 望 最 誠 實的 報 導 .新 專 輯 沒 Under the Pink的 抽 象 及 那
麼 苦 痛 . 它 敘 說 著 14 種 young men 的 故 事 . 我 想 應 不 是 與 她 有 關

"I mean, I fall in love every five seconds with something but I don't go

was playing since I was a little girl. I've been a musician before I was a
human. I've always been judged musically before I even knew what was
happening just because that's what happens when you're playing at such a
youn age. But now there really is a person inside there other than the
musician, and I'm just coming to that this year. Music is so much a part of
me I think it's in my cells. If I lost my hands and I lost my voice and I
was just sitting there I'd still think in tone and rhythm because that's
how I think every second. But I can be a woman that tHinks in tone and
rhythm, not just this thing."
