  1.The damage caused by the 921 earthquake which shocked the entire island
    of Taiwan last year is still vivid in our memory.

  2.Most people in Taiwan hope that the two sides across the Taiwan straite
    will maintain peaceful relations and avoid unnecessary conflicts.

  3.On the streets in Taipei. people should not only watch out for the taxis
    driven by the crazy drivers but also be careful of the zigzagging
    motorcycles.

  4.For the purpose of environmental protection. the best way to reduce the
    use of plastic bags is to have a shopping bag on hand.

  5.Network enables us to get various kinds of information: however, some
    students are addicted to it once they are on line. Thus they neglect
    their schoolwork.
