如果你的排副可以看到你，敵人也可以看到你。
（所以小兵都把自己的排副當敵人，恨得牙養養。）

可以坐著就別站著，可以躺著就別坐著，可以睡就別醒著。
（當學生的人也是這樣嗎？）

世界上最危險的事情就是一名少尉帶著一份地圖和一個指北針。

一個敵人絕對不夠，兩個就太多了。

一套乾爽潔淨的戰鬥服會馬上沾滿泥巴和雨水。

天氣越差你就越必須待在室外。
（我覺得出去玩的時候好像也是這樣。）

當你有大量彈藥時，你不會失手；當你只有一點彈藥時，你連穀倉都打不到。
（所以說有大量彈藥的時候，有二十個敵人也不嫌少？？）

be repaired.

越貴的武器就要送到越遠的地方修理。
（非常貼切的描述。）

72. The complexity of a weapon is inversely proportional to the IQ of the
weapon's operator.

武器的複雜程度與操作人員的智商成反比。
（說實在，我覺得天兵不一定總是操作複雜的武器。）

73. Field experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

所謂的戰場經驗就是在你需要之後才會得到的東西。

74. No matter which way you have to march, its always uphill.

不管你的行軍路線是哪一條，一定是上坡。

75. If enough data is collected, a board of inquiry can prove anything.

如果搜集足夠的資訊，一支偵察隊可以證明任何事。

在新兵訓練營中每一個動作都會有正反意見。

空中攻擊總是炸過頭；砲擊總是打太近。
（現在有精確制導武器了，還會有這樣的狀況嗎？）

78. When reviewing the radio frequencies that you just wrote down, the most
 important ones are always illegible.

當你重新檢視你剛寫下的無線電頻率時，最重要的幾個總是字跡最潦草的。
（你應該慶幸至少無線電沒有失靈。）

79. Those who hesitate under fire usually do not end up KIA or WIA.

那些在敵火下猶豫不決的人通常不會陣亡或受傷。
（多做多中彈，少做少中彈，不做不中彈？？）

80. The tough part about being an officer is that the troops don't know what
they want, but they know for certain what they don't want.

身為一個軍官的困難處在於部隊不知道他們想要什麼，但他們絕對知道他們不想要什麼。
（有誰幹過軍官的出來說一下吧！）
