Mary Joe Fernandez Appears at Starbucks to Promote the NASDAQ

ABOUT MARY JOE FERNANDEZ: Fernandez posted 31 victories in 11 appearances as
a player at the NASDAQ-100 Open from 1985-99. She also played in one of the
more memorable matches in tournament history. As a high school junior in 1988,
Fernandez faced off with veteran Chris Evert in the semifinals. Fernandez was
cheered on by her classmates at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami,
who were let out of school early to attend the match. Fernandez also advanced
to the NASDAQ-100 Open semifinals in 1991. Fernandez compiled an impressive
14-year professional career, advancing to three Grand Slam singles finals and
winning the 1996 French Open doubles title with partner Lindsey Davenport.

23- April 3 at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park in Miami. The 12-day combined
