Jazz Notes: Ex-UNLV forward signed to 10-day deal By Phil Miller The Salt Lake Tribune Article Last Updated: 02/06/2007 12:58:14 AM MST If there was any hesitation on the Jazz's part about signing Louis Amundson to a 10-day contract, the 6-foot-8 forward probably erased it Saturday night, when he scored 20 points, blocked six shots and gathered 16 rebounds, 10 of them on the offensive glass, for the Colorado 14ers. "We got good reports on him," said Kevin O'Connor, who dispatched scout David Fredman to watched that D-League game. "He plays defense and makes hustle plays." Amundson, who played four seasons at UNLV and was the last player cut last fall by the Sacramento Kings, will get a chance to make similar plays for the Jazz over the next three games - and, depending on how well he does, perhaps beyond. Amundson will become the 13th player on Utah's roster sometime today, once he passes a physical. O'Connor, the Jazz's senior vice president of basketball operations, said he made several calls around the league, looking for a big man in a trade to help the Jazz get by until Carlos Boozer returns from an injury. Amundson, who was also evaluated twice by chief scout Troy Weaver and once by O'Connor himself, was an intriguing alternative. After he averaged 14.3 points and 8.6 rebounds his senior season with the Rebels, the Jazz considered drafting him with one of their second-round picks last summer. http://www.sltrib.com/sports/ci_5166293 之後兩段分別提到Millsap和AK, 前者被移回替補, 因為他太容易犯規及對手陣容影響。 後者的傷勢目前列為day-to-day 。 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 220.134.49.169
