你想要AK的故事

    Andrei Kirilenko needs to explain himself. In English. To the folks in
Utah
Not to some Russian newspaper. Not to some Russian blog that he apparently
was contributing to throughout the European championships.

AK需要用英文解釋自己，向猶他的鄉親父老，不是對一些俄文報紙/blog講他促成歐洲
錦標賽冠軍。

    It's hard to misconstrue what Kirilenko wrote at
http://www.sports.ru/blog/kirilenko. He talked with Kevin O'Connor a couple
of weeks ago, told him he wanted out of Utah and hasn't heard back since. Now
the Jazz have a Kobe Bryant Jr. situation on their hands.

很難扭曲AK在http://www.sports.ru/blog/kirilenko寫的東西 。他在數星期前告訴
Kevin O'connor他想離開猶他州，並沒有得到答覆。現在爵士隊Kobe二世(= =)，選擇權

    Much like the Lakers aren't going to trade Bryant, it sounds like the
Jazz are going to do the same with Kirilenko. O'Connor told Kirilenko what
day he was expected to report and said in his comments Tuesday night not to
forget the player Kirilenko used to be.

有點像湖人不會想交易Kobe，聽起來爵士也一樣不想交易AK。

    The big difference, though, is that Bryant has Phil Jackson squarely in
his corner in LA. Kirilenko's relationship with Jerry Sloan, on the other
hand, might be beyond repair. And David Blatt isn't coming to coach the Jazz
any time soon.

差別是Phil Jackson正視Kobe的每一點。而AK和Sloan的關係可能無法修復，而且David
Blatt最近沒有要來爵士。


    Kirilenko blasted Sloan once earlier this summer, which the coach was
willing to chalk up to frustration. You have to wonder what his reaction is
going to be this time. How they would be able to coexist was the biggest
unanswered question Tuesday.

    Of course, Kirilenko should get more than six shots a game, but how much
responsibility should be on him to find a way to be a productive player. The
more Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer emerge, the farther behind Kirilenko
seems to fall.

    I can't figure out what Kirilenko gains from the timing of this, other
than maybe trying to force a trade with his value high after EuroBasket. But
it's not easy to trade a guy who's owed $63 million. That puts almost any
team with another big contract in luxury-tax territory.

我可想不透為什麼AK要在這個時機，也許是在歐洲錦標賽的成功，但要交易6300萬合約
的人可不容易，幾乎可以讓任何隊去付奢華稅。

    Kirilenko has to report to camp by Oct. 1, otherwise he risks being fined
or suspended. The Jazz are going to take their time and work any deal for the
right return on a player who at 26 should be entering the prime of his
career.

AK必須在10月1號前回報球隊，否則他有可能被罰款或禁賽，爵士會在這段時間用交易他
得到26黃金歲月時的AK應有的回報。

    It does seem absolutely inevitable that the Jazz will trade Kirilenko,
sooner rather than later. But Kirilenko would have been better served coming
out with this at the start of summer, rather than the middle of September.

看來不可避免爵士將交易AK，並且越早越好，但更應該在夏季初，而不是9月中旬。

    So Kirilenko's probably going to start the season with the Jazz, which
means monster distractions. The last thing I said to O'Connor was that he was
going to have one heck of a media day. He said he would see me there.

所以AK可能即將開始本賽季繼續待在爵士隊，這意味有人新不在此。最後我要說O'Connor

    With all the Kirilenko news, C.J. Miles is a relative afterthought right
now. But he's still not signed and we're counting down the days to training
camp.

    The Jazz are unlikely to budge from the one-year qualifying offer they
made back in late June and will wait until the clock runs out and Miles has
to take it.

    There had been some thought the Jazz would come in with a multi-year deal
for Miles, but they're apparently content to go through the process next
summer, when Miles would be a restricted free agent again.

爵士會和Miles簽下多年的合約，但要等到明年夏天，當Miles回覆自由人。

    I left messages for Miles and his agent, Billy Ceisler, and didn't hear
back from, either. Miles is not currently working out in Salt Lake City,
though he said he wanted to be back in town at least two weeks before camp.
