‧ The luxury tax. Eleven teams are above the tax threshold this season. Ten
of them will make the playoffs. All told, those 11 teams are on track to
average 53 victories each.

答案是: 豪華稅。本季有11支球隊超過豪華稅門檻。其中的10支球隊打進季後賽，這11
支球隊的平均勝場數是53勝。

The 19 teams below the tax threshold will average 35 wins this season. Among
them, only the Hawks are on track to win as many as 53 games.

另外19支未達豪華稅門檻的球隊只有平均35勝。其中只有老鷹能達到前者的平均53勝。

This breakdown is one of the big reasons owners are expected to take a hard
line on cutting back salaries. Teams cannot hope to win a championship
without paying the tax.

這個差距讓老闆們對於是否要降低薪資感到頭痛。不繳稅，別想拿總冠軍。
