Jay Triano, an assistant on Vincent's staff and former Canadian national team
coach, will make his debut as interim coach. Triano went to training camp
with the Jazz in 1984 but was released after John Stockton signed his rookie
contract.

PHOENIX - As he rode a stationary bike in the US Airways Center weight room
before Saturday's game, Carlos Boozer was congratulated by Raja Bell on the
pink dress shirt he wore with his suit on the bench Friday.

After missing his 10th game Saturday with a strained left quadriceps
tendon, Boozer has had ample opportunity to show off the collection in his
closet. But the All-Star forward is hoping to be back in uniform sometime
this week.

Boozer has been running, plus doing strengthening exercises for his knee,
and said he could return either Tuesday at Minnesota or Thursday against
Portland, though he added, "We'll see how strong it gets over the next few
days."

並且說他應該可以在禮拜二對灰狼或禮拜三對波特蘭的比賽中回來，

Once Boozer returns, the Jazz will be close to full strength after an
injury-ravaged start to the season. Only Jarron Collins remains out
long-term, with his injured right elbow not set to be re-evaluated until Jan.

"We've been doing a good job holding it down without me," said Boozer,

Boozer wasn't sure if he would practice Monday and said he is not yet

The Jazz suffered a scare, as Brevin Knight had to be taken to the
hospital after getting caught in the windpipe by a Goran Dragic elbow at the
end of the first quarter. Knight was to remain hospitalized overnight for
observation.

Knight played into the second quarter after he was hit, but left for the
hospital at halftime. A CT scan was negative and Knight will be re-examined
today. The Jazz did not think it was best for him to fly home after
complaining of swelling.

Harpring's return

ever seen a player come back from an epidural injection as well as Matt
Harpring did in scoring 14 points against Toronto.

The box score wouldn't have suggested it, as Deron Williams finished with 15
points and 15 assists and played 38 minutes in Saturday's loss to Phoenix,
but the scene in the locker room afterward served as a reminder.

A week-and-a-half after his return from a sprained left ankle, Williams
still was walking with a limp after the game. He was able to play through a
grueling stretch of four games in five nights, but Williams still is not 100
percent.

17.1 points and 10.9 points in nine starts with Boozer out with a strained

becoming the first Jazz opponent to post a 20/20 game since Dallas' Chris
Gatling (23 points, 20 rebounds) did so Nov. 16, 1996.
