Small talk with Stockton By Tim Buckley Deseret Morning News Thursday, April 26, 2007 Retired Jazz legend John Stockton ─ busy these days raising his family in his native Spokane, Wash. ─ hasn't had much time to watch the Jazz this season. But the NBA's all-time steals and assists leader just can't help himself as Utah takes part in its first postseason series since Stockton's last before his 2003 retirement. Stockton poked his head out of the Jazz's locker room following Wednesday's practice, though it was made clear the longtime point guard wasn't there to help coach the club. "He doesn't coach," Jazz head coach Jerry Sloan said. "He coaches me." Still, Jazz players couldn't help but notice Stockton ─ and several shared small talk with him on their way into the locker room. "It's great to have him here," power forward Carlos Boozer said. "We love his presence. We love all those (former Jazz stars). They always give us good tidbits to try to help us win games." 原文附圖: http://deseretnews.com/photos/2033428.jpg
