The Rockets are an organization that crunches numbers to no end with
general manager Daryl Morey trying to adapt statistical analysis to the NBA
in similar ways to what Billy Beane has done with the Oakland A's.
火箭是和奧克蘭運動家一樣依照『錢球』法則運作的球隊。
(原本想翻「依照數據對效率錙銖必較的球隊」或者「數據至上的球隊」
感覺很饒舌所以就算了)
Before the series started, I heard it mentioned that the Jazz were far
and away the No. 1 team in the NBA at grabbing offensive rebounds after
missed free throws. It seemed like one of those interesting stats but not all
that important in the grand scheme.
在這個系列開始之前，我做了一個夢...
這個夢境是說 —
爵士是全聯盟在罰球不進時，
除了最會『阿 ～～』之外，同時也是最會抓進攻籃板的球隊。
不過這個夢似乎和『夢見和飯島愛一起共度晚餐』一樣，
很有趣，但不大實際 — 畢竟這只是個夢。
(我真的很希望沒有人懂這個梗 — 好娘！好嫩！)
Of course, Mehmet Okur then beat Carl Landry and Tracy McGrady to the
rebound after Deron Williams missed two free throws with 7.3 seconds left and
the chance to close out the Jazz's Game 4 victory.
夢醒了，我看到妹妹喔酷兒在蝶龍最後7.3秒兩罰不中後，
與Landry和T-Mac的爭奪中，奮力抓下了籃板 — 也抓下了第四戰爵士的勝利。
Had the Rockets grabbed that rebound, they could have set up for a
game-winning or -tying shot in the final seconds. This was what Bobby Jackson
said afterward, making reference to the above stat that was clearly discussed
in the Rockets camp.
如果火箭抓下了這個籃板的話，他們將會有部署最後一擊的機會。
『爵士差點又領卡了。』Bobby Jackson在比賽結束後是這麼說的，
在火箭主場時，火箭常常在關鍵時刻抓不下防守籃板，
這部份已經檢討過了。(但是還是再犯)
"We had our chances," Jackson said. "That's the bottom line. We didn't
capitalize on them at the end. He [Williams] misses two free throws and we
had our chances to get that, come down and get a play for Tracy.
「哈雷路亞 — 嗆斯！」Jackson說。
「結果就是我們領卡。我們沒有好好把握。

"That's the way we crumble sometimes. We know they're the best offensive

McGrady called out Houston coach Rick Adelman for a substitution mistake
with Williams at the line: "That was the point where Dikembe [Mutombo] and
those guys should have been in the game, because we would have called a
timeout had we gotten the rebound."
T-Mac點出了矮豆人在蝶龍罰球時調度的問題：
「那是木桶伯以及會搶籃板的人該在場上的時候，
我們如果拿到籃板的話就可以喊個暫停惹。」

我的感想...
爵士真的很髒！很硬！很娘！ 我說真的！
我也承認我有過因為輸球、或認為執法不公而靠北裁判的時候
但老梗是絕對的 — 只要裁判不吹哨的話，比賽就是進行中。
