Ronnie Price played just 9 minutes, 7 seconds for Utah in Sunday's 123-115
win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

普萊斯在今天這場勝仗中只打了九分鐘又七秒。

They were memorable.

但這卻將成為他生涯最難忘的時刻之一。

Price started his time on the floor literally on the floor. And he ended his
playing time standing above a fallen Laker.

雖然上場沒多久就被人家打趴在地上，
但比賽最後他可是立了大功才光榮退場。

With 10:07 left in the second quarter, Price got a steal off a bad Ronny
Turiaf pass and drove to the basket. You probably know what happened next.
Turiaf came down the floor and delivered a hard foul on Price, who landed
awkwardly on the floor. Price's head bounced off the floor, causing a cut
above the eye.

第二節開賽四分鐘，普萊斯從偷你牙虎手中偷到球，
隨即快攻上籃，沒想到偷你牙虎追了上來，
並且在他身上狠狠犯了一規，普萊斯應聲倒地，
頭殼去撞到地板，眼睛旁邊馬上裂開一道傷口。

Turiaf was tagged with a flagrant foul on the play and was ejected. It was a
much-talked-about incident for the Jazz's little-heard-from point guard. With
a horde of reporters around his locker after the game, Price - with four
stitches above his right eye - said it wasn't that big a deal. But
photographers don't usually set up ladders in front of his locker to get a
better shot, either.

偷你牙虎被判了個惡性犯規後隨即被驅逐出場。
賽後訪問時記者不免圍繞著這個話題打轉兒，
右眼縫了四針的普萊斯卻回答這種事稀鬆平常，
不過攝影記者們可不做如是想，
他們甚至還架了梯子好拍清楚他的傷口。

"It's just that we're in the playoffs," he said. "You know, it happened. I
don't think he meant for it to happen. We are good friends. He came out the
same year that I did. I know he didn't mean to do it."

「季後賽不就是這麼回事嘛，」這名替補控衛說，
「有時候難免會發生啊，我想他又不是有意要傷人的，」
「我跟阿虎是同梯，我們一直都是好朋友啊，」
「他絕對不是故意的啦～」

Turiaf's foul was loudly derided by the crowd. Price's play on Luke Walton in
the fourth quarter was loudly cheered.

偷你牙虎這一犯當然是被猶他主場球迷給噓翻天了，
相反地，普萊斯第四節送給窩吞的那個大火鍋則是讓他們樂不可支。

With 7:18 remaining, Kobe Bryant started the play by rebounding a Price miss
and bombing the ball down court to a wide-open Walton. The Laker forward, who
stands 6 inches taller than Price, slowed as he approached the basket. Price
charged in from behind and made a block on what should have been an easy
Laker basket.

比賽最後七分鐘，柯比抓下普萊斯投不進的籃板，
快傳給當時大空檔的窩吞，窩吞在拿球時稍微放慢了腳步，
結果被從後面拔足狂奔的普萊斯追了上來，
打了這個足足高他六吋的湖人前鋒一個大火鍋。

"I missed a shot and just tried to hustle down there," Price waid. "He slowed
down a little and I took advantage of that."

「我拚命想要彌補自己沒投進的那球，」普萊斯說，
「我看見他放慢了步伐，剛好有機可趁，口桀口桀～」

As Walton laid on the floor, Price gave him a look, then was replaced by
Deron Williams.

普萊斯只來得及看倒在地上的窩吞一眼，
就換成蝶龍上來接替了。

That was block No. 9 in Price's career. Well, that's what the NBA
statisticians say.

從統計表看來，這是普萊斯生涯敲的第九記火鍋。

"It's more than nine," Price said with a laugh. "I'm tellin' you. Somebody
took some blocks away from me."

「屁啦，沒有九個那麼少好不好，」普萊斯笑咯咯，
「我跟你說，一定是被錯算到不知道哪個人身上去了好唄！」

There's no taking anything away from Price's memorable afternoon Sunday.

不過別擔心，今天你耀眼的表現可不會再被錯記啦！
