Knight In Contact With As Many As Eight Teams Aug 05, 2009 2:06 PM EST With so many capable point guards on the market this summer, veteran Brevin Knight has become a forgotten man. But Knight has received interest across the league, according to his agent, Bill Strickland. "We've had at least preliminary talks with around eight teams," Strickland told RealGM's Alex Kennedy. Strickland stressed that a deal isn't likely to be made until some of the more notable guards are signed. "Right now, you have Ramon Sessions, Nate Robinson, Raymond Felton, C.J. Watson, guys like that all available so we're having to wait but as players continue to get signed and rosters fill out, we'll see where we're going to land," he said. While Strickland declined to name any of the teams pursuing Knight, he did say the Orlando Magic were not a potential suitor. "Orlando contacted us and we talked but they've decided to go in another direction. They're looking at other options to fill their point guard position," said Strickland. Knight is entering his thirteenth year in the NBA and has career averages of 7.3 points and 6.1 assists per game. Via Alex Kennedy/RealGM -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.115.200.137
