Kirilenko Becomes United States Citizen

Andrei Kirilenko became a United States citizen on Monday afternoon.

美國時間周一下午，Andrei Kirilenko正式成為美國公民。


The 10-year veteran kept the ceremony quiet, but was proud when discussing
the milestone before Tuesday's practice.

這位征戰NBA10年的老兵對外保持低調，但他相當自豪自己的決定。


"It's an important decision for me and my family," the Jazz forward said.

"I'm very grateful for the two countries, America and Russia. I really feel
I'm a double citizen. I was born in Russia and grew up there and then I came
to America and learned a lot. I'm really grateful for everything I have since
I've got here, on and off the court."

AK表示：對我和我的家人來說，這是個重大的決定。我很感激美國和俄羅斯。
        我真的覺得我是有雙重國籍的人。我出生在俄羅斯並在那裡成長，
        來到美國後學到了很多。不管是場上或場下，在這裡的一切我都很感激。


At first he called the test, which was both written and oral, "tough," but
said he and his wife had little trouble passing it.

說到入籍考試，有筆試和口試，AK覺得很難，但他和妻子都覺得問題不大。


"I know for some guys it's kind of trouble, but it wasn't a very hard test,"
he said.

「我知道對有些人來說可能是個麻煩，但我覺得不是個很難的考試。」
