這個問題我也遇到了 (Ph.D.)
因為我原本是用自己的戶頭開財力證明寄給學校
學校回信說
When you use your own money to support yourself for the duration
of you program, you would need to show 3.5 years worth of funding.
所以他就跟我說有個解決方法：
That is $37,746 Per Year. If your father would be your sponsor,
your father would need to show an equivalent of $37746 in a savings or
checking account and write a letter indicating he would be willing
to support you for the duration of your studies.
這樣就只需要出示一年的funding就可以了
總之就是找一個sponsor幫你出示財力證明比較簡單一點囉
