Edu is wishing to play in Valencia C.F. The international player, who
will officially become one of our players from July the 1st, just when he
finishes his contract with Arsenal F.C. has analysed the present of his
future club for the official website. The Brazilian player has commented
to www.valenciacf.es that he had no doubt concerning his signing for our
team. He has also talked about his feelings about Mestalla, a stadium he
already knew, about his style in the pitch and about Valencia C.F.’s new
coach, Quique Sanchez Flores.
‘I’ll have a lot time to enjoy my new destiny’.
‘I am wishing to know my new team, the team mates, the manager, the
city, the atmosphere… I have been told many good things about Valencia and
Valencia C.F. and I am sure to have chosen the most suitable option. I will
play the Confederations Cup first and afterwards I will have a lot of time
to enjoy my new destiny’.

‘I had no doubts for choosing the club. People asked me why did I sign
for Valencia, but it is one of the greatest teams of the world and it is
currently considered last year’s Best Team of the World. It has also been
one of clubs to win more championships in such a competitive country as
Spain. I think I will fit, cause football language is universal’.
His new team mates.
‘I know the international players, that are a great number, cause
Valencia C.F. has high-quality players from different countries. It is not
easy to keep the level of last seasons and we must try to return the team
to the place that it deserves’.
Mestalla, his new home.
‘I have visited Mestalla and I think it’s a very beautiful stadium.
It reminds me of those from Britain and I noticed that Valencia has great
supporters. I am sure that I will feel as in home soon and I wish to play
with my new T-shirt, of Valencia C.F., in Mestalla'.
His role in the football pitch.
‘I can play in different positions, in the midfield as a defence or in
with an offensive projection. Anyway, the coach will be the one to find a
place for me in the football pitch in order to work hard’.
Quique Sanchez Flores, the new manager.
‘I have great references of the manager. I have heard that he is a
young man, willing to succeed as he did as a player. His season with a team
like Getafe has been incredible. I am sure that we will keep on very well’.
